Welcome to spring! A time to rejuvenate, grow and continue to have fun.
Our casita is no longer! We have completed its conversion to an inn! Posada Los Olivos (The Olive Grove Inn). It has four well-appointed rooms, each with their own baths. It is staffed 24/7, offering transportation to and from the Luciernaga mall for our guest as well as massage therapy, heated swimming pool, hot tub and private dining. Our plan is to add six cottages by year end. Here is the rendition of the cottages by our architect.

A new offering and a new project.
San Miguel has evolved into a foodie heaven with an incredible and wonderful array of eating establishments ranging from food trucks to high end venues. Our own history is nothing to scoff at. We have served over 8,000 guests in ten years, with a staff that has mastered recipes from six continents. Armed with this experience we are confident in starting a dinner venue, three days a week, offering home cooked international fare. Each week we will focus on a different country and/or a process.
Concurrent with this action we are undertaking a major renovation or our dining veranda. The open area with roll up curtains built during the covid period has served us well but for dinners it is not adequate. Here is the architect’s rendition of the remodeled space which we will begin in April.

Bird watching!
Susan and I love spending spring evenings under the shadows of our pine tree garden enjoying the cooling breezes, the sound of birds singing (our Bird Opera) and a cocktail. Recently we donated two certificates for groups of four for “An Evening Bird Watching picnic with charcuterie board and wine”. Well, this is a cool idea which we decided to offer to groups of four from Monday through Friday until the rains start coming. Susan and I will also join in the gatherings. Check out our newest experience

Warm Regards
Susan and Victor
