Hands-On Cooking at a Working Mexican Finca

At Finca Luna Serena, our cooking classes are fully participatory experiences—not demonstrations. Guests cook together but individually under our direction. Then share a long table meal and enjoy the dishes they prepared.

Classes are held in our roofed open-air teaching kitchen, thoughtfully designed for hands-on learning, with 12 individual cooking stations.

Our kitchen operates year-round serving real guests, and the techniques and recipes taught in class are the same ones used every day.

Classes are led by the Head of Kitchen at Finca Luna Serena, who has overseen daily service and cooked for more than 8,000 guests over the last ten years. A translator is present, and bilingual (English/Spanish) recipes are provided
