Grilled Salmon with Ginger Olive Oil
Grilled salmon fillet glazed with aromatic ginger-infused olive oil.

Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (180–200g each, skin on)
3 tbsp ginger-infused olive oil, plus more for drizzling
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp honey or agave syrup
1 tsp grated fresh ginger (optional, for extra bite)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Lemon wedges and chopped cilantro or scallions (for garnish)
Preparation
Marinate the salmon
In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tbsp ginger olive oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, honey, and grated ginger (if using).
Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or zip-top bag and pour the marinade over them. Let sit for 20–30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Preheat grill or grill pan
Heat your grill (or grill pan) to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates or surface.
Grill the salmon
Remove salmon from marinade and pat lightly with paper towel to avoid flare-ups.
Place the fillets skin-side down and grill for 4–5 minutes without moving them. Flip and grill for another 3–4 minutes, or until just cooked through and still moist inside.
Serve
Plate the salmon and drizzle with a little more ginger olive oil. Garnish with lemon wedges and chopped herbs.
