Join us for a culinary experience where you'll learn to craft traditional Mexican pibil dishes. Originating from the Yucatán Peninsula, pibil is a cooking method that involves marinating meats or vegetables in a flavorful blend of spices and citrus juices, then slow-cooking them in banana leaves for a tender and aromatic result.

In this hands-on class, you will be preparing pibil from scratch, mastering the balance of flavors and techniques that make this cuisine so beloved.

Appetizer: Yucatán-style Ceviche

  • Fresh seafood marinated in citrus juices, mixed with diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and a hint of habanero pepper for a refreshing start to your meal.

Main Course: Pibil (choice of pork, chicken or vegetarian)

  • Main ingredient marinated in achiote paste, orange juice, and spices, then wrapped in banana leaves and slow-cooked until succulent. Served with pickled red onions and warm tortillas for a taste of authentic Yucatecan cuisine.

Side Dish: Arroz Rojo (Mexican Red Rice)

  • Fragrant rice cooked with tomatoes, onions, garlic, and spices, creating a flavorful and colorful accompaniment to the main dish.

Dessert: Tres Leches Cake

  • Indulge in a classic Mexican dessert featuring a sponge cake soaked in three types of milk (condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream), topped with whipped cream and fresh strawberries for a sweet and creamy finale to your pibil feast.
